Offering an extraordinary sound, the organs were built by the MERKLIN and SCHÜTZE factory between 1849 and 1852, and redesigned by Pierre SCHYVEN between 1885 and 1887. These large organs belong to a style of instruments situated at the hinge between post-classicism and romanticism.
Restored by the firm SCHUMACHER of Eupen on a suspended platform specially built for this purpose, the instrument now has 40 registers (stops) distributed on 3 keyboards and a pedalboard.
